In the winter of 2016, the volunteers of the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta called a meeting with other regional attractions. They believed that through forging a partnership with other organizations which also offer fall programming to families, all the partners could grow their attendance. This was important because the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta itself was founded to provide an economic boost to the businesses in that community.

 

To date the partnership has been awarded two Tourism Enterprise Grants from the Maine Office of Tourism to strengthen and grow the economic impact of our programs.
